What is Dysport®?

Dysport® is an injection used to temporarily improve the look of your moderate to severe frown lines without changing the look of your whole face.  The untreated facial muscles still work normally, allowing you to freely show facial expressions, such as smiling, in untreated areas.

How does Dysport® work?

Dysport® blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles, ultimately resulting in a reduction of muscle activity and temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines.

How soon will I see treatment results?

Dysport® usually starts to work in one to two days, and it usually reaches its full effect in about 10 days. Treatment generally takes 10 to 20 minutes.

How long does one treatment last?

The effects of Dysport® are semi-permanent, with injections slowly lasting over a 3 – 4 month period.  The frequency with which you will need to repeat injections varies from patient to patient.
